Lundgren Associates focuses it services on Dirt Road companies. The definitions of the different phases of an early-stage company are:

Jungle- early product development ending with a product, some customers and some revenue; plus the first round of institutional venture capital.

Dirt Road - post Jungle and before the Highway. You clearly know where you are going, but it is a bit bumpy.
